CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector

As an AS9100D-certified small business supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Missile Defense Agency, our inspection capability is a core part of both our manufacturing and metrology service offerings. This is a hands-on technical role. You will be programming and operating our Zeiss CMM, developing inspection routines, interpreting engineering drawings, and generating the dimensional data that drives quality decisions across our programs. • Program, set up, and operate Zeiss coordinate measuring machines to inspect precision aerospace components and assemblies
• Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs from engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
• Perform dimensional inspections for first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Use precision hand measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges for incoming and in-process inspection activities
• Generate clear, accurate inspection reports and dimensional data packages for internal and customer use
• Support First Article Inspection documentation in accordance with AS9102
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements per ASME Y14.5 to define inspection strategy and measurement approach
• Maintain CMM equipment including calibration coordination and routine maintenance
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional non-conformances Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience programming and operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or inspection environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5
• Experience using precision hand measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Experience generating inspection reports and dimensional data packages
