Role Overview
Fairmont Dubai is seeking a Cluster Reservations Agent for its Cluster Reservation Team.
The role provides warm, anticipative telephone service and supports a high-quality guest reservation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage room blocks, rooming lists, group inventory, billing instructions, and group rate codes.
- Apply group-management procedures, including cutoff dates, blocking, and booking policies.
- Convert reservation calls into sales, maximize rooms revenue, and use upselling techniques.
- Apply revenue-management strategies, sell levels, directed rates, market segments, and rate plans.
- Use Opera PMS/S&C and support property PMS conversions.
- Maintain reservation accuracy and guest satisfaction across distribution channels.
- Support the Cluster Reservation Manager with ad hoc projects and follow department standards.
Qualifications
- Previous reservations experience is required.
- Microsoft Windows applications proficiency is required.
- Previous Opera Property Management System experience is required.
- Luxury hotel sales experience with varied market-mix experience is required.
- Spoken and written English proficiency is required; a second language is an asset.
- Candidates should be reliable, team-oriented, guest-focused, calm, courteous, and accurate.
