Role Description
The Cluster General Manager – Hotels oversees the operational and financial performance of multiple properties within a defined cluster.
The role sets performance targets, monitors hotel metrics, and implements action plans to achieve cluster goals.
The position collaborates with property leadership to maintain brand standards, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and guest satisfaction scores.
- Review financial reports and guide revenue management strategies.
- Coordinate cross-property marketing initiatives.
- Support talent development and retention across the cluster.
- Prepare performance reports and conduct regular virtual stakeholder meetings.
- Drive continuous improvement in guest experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven hotel or hospitality management experience is required.
- Experience overseeing multiple properties or a regional or cluster portfolio is desirable.
- Strong operations management skills are required, including process optimization, budget management, and performance improvement.
- Knowledge of revenue management, distribution, pricing, channel management, and demand forecasting is required.
- Financial analysis and reporting competence is required, including P&L interpretation and cost management.
- Leadership experience with diverse, distributed teams is required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills are required.
- Comfort using PMS, CRS, RMS, CRM, and collaboration tools in a remote environment is required.
- Hospitality, business, or related education, or equivalent professional experience, is required.
