The Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing leads commercial strategy and performance across the hotel cluster.
Commercial Leadership
- Develop and implement the cluster Sales and Marketing strategy in line with hotel commercial objectives.
- Lead the annual Sales Plan, Marketing Plan, budget, and revenue targets.
- Drive business development across corporate, government, groups, leisure, wholesale, travel agencies, tour operators, and Hajj and Umrah.
Business Development and Markets
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key accounts, partners, and market stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify revenue growth and market-share opportunities.
- Develop group and individual religious tourism business across relevant domestic and international source markets.
Team and Hotel Performance
- Lead and motivate Sales and Marketing teams through objectives, KPIs, and performance improvement.
- Work with General Managers, Revenue Management, Operations, and Finance to maximize hotel performance.
- Oversee marketing, public relations, promotional, and digital initiatives.
Reporting and Representation
- Provide commercial reports, forecasts, and business insights to hotel leadership.
- Ensure participation in trade shows, sales calls, client events, and tourism and hospitality activities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field.
- Proven senior-level Sales and Marketing experience within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Hajj and Umrah business is highly preferred.
- Experience with Umrah operators, Hajj missions, travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, and group business.
- Strong understanding of hotel pricing, revenue management, contracting, forecasting, market segmentation, and distribution.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, analytical, financial, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience managing and developing Sales and Marketing teams.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic language skills are highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for sales missions, exhibitions, and key-account development.

- The role supports multiple hotels in Makkah and includes domestic and international travel for sales missions, exhibitions, and key-account development.
