Role Information

Accounting Duties

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
• Maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to company procedures.
• Record and analyze computerized financial information using journals, ledgers, or computers.
• Prepare, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, audit, payroll, and statistical reports.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until payment is received or resolved.

Coordination and Conduct

• Coordinate work with other departments, mentor colleagues, and assign tasks for timely, quality completion.
• Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately to a manager or supervisor.
• Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare accurate documents, and handle calls appropriately.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
