Cloud Support Engineer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure, virtual machines, storage, virtual networks, load balancers, and related services.
• Support migration, deployment, maintenance, capacity monitoring, performance monitoring, and availability monitoring.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux systems, including patching, hardening, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Support Azure networking, DNS, Active Directory integration, private endpoints, routing, VPN, and connectivity.
• Implement security and governance practices, vulnerability remediation, hardening, and compliance activities.
• Maintain Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, analyze alerts and logs, and participate in incident, problem, and change management.
• Support SQL Server infrastructure and use PowerShell or Azure CLI for administration and automation.

Required Qualifications

• Two to three years of Azure Cloud, infrastructure, or system administration experience.
• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, networking, Monitor, Log Analytics, KQL, RBAC, and Azure Policy.
• Windows Server and Linux administration experience.
• Knowledge of SQL Server infrastructure, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and private endpoints.
• Production troubleshooting and incident management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AKS, AVD, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Firewall, Azure Landing Zones, or the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, or hybrid Azure connectivity.
