Tomoh Apprenticeship

Program structure

• Phase one is a one-month onboarding and skilling bootcamp covering Microsoft's mission, culture, strategy, structure, certifications, project management, change management, interpersonal skills, creativity, innovation, and time management.
• Phase two is five months of on-the-job training as a Cloud Solution Architect, including mentorship, coaching, and digital transformation project support.
• Advanced training includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Apply foundational architecture knowledge to meet business and information technology requirements and resolve technical constraints.
• Share customer and partner feedback about technical capabilities, gaps, blockers, and insights with internal teams.
• Contribute to proposals for viable technical product solutions and demonstrate technical concepts.
• Prove design solution capability through design collaboration sessions with customers and partners.
• Support research projects and scoping surveys for intellectual property needs or process changes.
• Participate in architect community events and share learnings with the internal team.
• Participate in architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization discussions.
• Help ensure customer environments and applications are well-architected for production deployment and business value.

Minimum qualifications

• Completed a bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or management, engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English.

• Strong stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners, and customers.
• Proficient communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
