Role Overview
The Cloud Reliability Engineer is responsible for availability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence across VERSANT cloud platforms and services.
The role supports digital products, streaming platforms, content delivery systems, and media workflows that require high uptime and performance.
Reliability Engineering
- Design, implement, and maintain reliability practices for cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and operational metrics.
- Identify reliability risks and improve availability, scalability, resilience, and operational stability.
- Drive continuous improvement focused on operational excellence.
Monitoring and Observability
- Design monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions across AWS environments.
- Develop dashboards and reporting for platform health and performance.
- Analyze system behavior, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements.
- Establish proactive monitoring that detects issues before customer impact.
