Configure and manage EC2, EBS, load balancers, IAM policies, and backup solutions
Support high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and failover configuration
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues
Apply security best practices aligned with federal compliance requirements
Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation (architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, migration plans)
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or related infrastructure roles
Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud
Experience migrating on-premises workloads to cloud environments (lift-and-shift preferred)
Experience in managing Windows Server environments
Familiarity with core AWS fundamentals such as: VPC design and networking fundamentals, IAM and least-privilege access controls, backup and disaster recovery strategies
Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Strong documentation and communication skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional)
Experience supporting government cloud environments
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with configuration management tools
