About the Role
The Cloud Engineer will design, architect, and support scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
The role works with multidisciplinary teams to enable rapid software delivery and meet security and performance requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Design and architect scalable, performant, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP.
- Build, operate, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized microservices solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Define cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices, primarily with Terraform.
- Manage data integration and ETL workflows across cloud and hybrid platforms.
- Establish and uphold cloud security practices, compliance frameworks, and TELUS security standards.
- Set up and maintain observability and monitoring using Grafana, Prometheus, and similar tools.
What You’ll Need
- At least 7 years of experience designing and architecting cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices architecture.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
