Role Overview
Support, secure, and scale emerging AI infrastructure and development pipelines.
Build practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud security, web operations, and secure AI-enabled development.

Responsibilities
- Support security checks, control documentation, configuration validation, and risk escalation for AI infrastructure and AI-enabled development.
- Review logs, alerts, system activity, and pipeline outputs for vulnerabilities or unusual behavior.
- Assist with AWS VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes provisioning and maintenance.
- Update and write basic Terraform, Serverless, or AWS CloudFormation templates under guidance.
- Help manage permissions and access controls using AWS IAM and least-privilege principles.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations to troubleshoot issues and support safe web-platform releases.
- Maintain and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
- Document architecture diagrams, deployment processes, access controls, and security protocols.
Required Technical Skills
- Foundational AWS, cloud computing, networking, IAM, security-group, and web-infrastructure knowledge.
- Basic familiarity with least privilege, access controls, encryption, secrets management, logging, and secure configuration.
- Ability to review and document security findings and escalate potential risks.
- Basic Python or Bash scripting experience for operational or security automation.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, Bitbucket pipelines, pull requests, branching, and change tracking.
- Awareness of responsible AI-assisted engineering, including sensitive-data protection and output validation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Zero to two years of experience in IT support, systems administration, cloud operations, cybersecurity, software engineering, web operations, or junior DevOps is preferred.
- Entry-level certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or CompTIA Security+ are helpful but not required.
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Relevant coursework, internships, graduate research, capstone projects, or hands-on experience is highly desirable.
Compensation
- Expected annual base salary is $65,000 to $85,000, excluding potential short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
- Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
