- Win the confidence of prospective customers through successful delivery of discovery, analysis and design workshops
- Design and scope delivery projects as well as lead consulting teams through successful customer pilot and production deployments
- Design, create and deliver content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service and support solutions at scale
- Work closely with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales to ensure a world class customer experience
- Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities
- Demonstrate thought leadership by producing white papers, webinars, and speaking at industry conferences

- Background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (command line skills, Linux network configuration)
- Experience with Containers, container management utilities and debugging containers; also Quay
- Skills in Package management, both on the CLI and with Red Hat Satellite
- Hands on knowledge in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
- Architecture skills, specifically around datacenter infrastructure (networking, compute and storage)
- Ansible experience (playbooks and troubleshooting)

Job Description
- The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join us in Qatar.
- In this role, you will work as a subject matter expert in Red Hat’s infrastructure and cloud technology.
- You'll answer questions about best practices around automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups and lead the on site delivery and implementation of Red Hat’s technology.
- We are looking for candidates with hands on experience in infrastructure and architecture design topics.
- Red Hat will support relocation to the UAE for a successful candidate.
What You Will Do
- Winning the confidence of our prospective customers through the successful delivery of discovery, analysis and design workshops that shape and influence the customer’s use cases and architecture design decisions to align with the Red Hat solution.
- Designing and scoping delivery projects as well as leading consulting teams through successful customer pilot and production deployments.
- The design, creation and delivery of content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell (pre sales), service (consulting) and support (CEE) our solutions at scale.
- Work closely with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales to ensure a world class customer experience with Red Hat’s products.
- Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in the community by producing world class white papers, webinars, etc. and speaking at industry leading conferences.
What You Will Bring
- Background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Command line skills, Linux network configuration)
- Experience with Containers, container management utilities and debugging containers; also Quay
- Skills in Package management, both on the CLI and with Red Hat Satellite
- Hands on knowledge in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOSO18 requires OCP as the base platform to be deployed upon, so OCP knowledge becomes a prerequisite for OSP)
- Architecture skills, specifically around datacenter infrastructure (networking, compute and storage)
- Compute skills: Lights Out Management LOM (IPMI, Redfish), UEFI/BIOS, server hardware
- Networking skills: Software Defined Networking SDN, Layer 2 (ARP, MAC), Layer 3 (TCP, UDP) and Layer 4 (IP), Open Virtual Switch OVS
- Storage skills Software Defined Storage SDS (Ceph), SAN, NAS
- Ansible experience (playbooks and troubleshooting)
- Authentication and Authorization (Red Hat IDM, Active Directory)
- Experience with network/datacenter design, elaboration of design and architecture documents and scoping/discovery sessions
