The Global Network Architect & Engineering Lead is responsible for defining, governing, and delivering the organization's global network strategy while ensuring operational excellence across enterprise, cloud, WAN, campus, wireless, data center, retail, and manufacturing network environments.
This role provides technical leadership for the network domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives, cybersecurity requirements, enterprise architecture principles, and industry best practices. The individual is accountable for transforming architectural vision into operational reality through the establishment of engineering standards, reference architectures, deployment methodologies, and technology roadmaps.
The Global Architect & Engineering Lead is responsible for ensuring that the company’s network domain is aligned with Cisco best practice designs and remains compliant with company security policies, architecture standards, and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, security teams, and operational support functions, the Global Network Architect & Engineering Lead ensures that network services remain secure, resilient, scalable, supportable, and fit for future business needs.
Define and maintain the global network strategy, architecture principles, standards, and governance framework.
Develop and maintain target-state architectures and multi-year technology roadmaps across all network domains.
Create reference designs and design patterns to ensure solutions align with business strategy and Maintaining Dyson technology stack and hardware standards.
Supporting the service introduction, release and change management processes to ensure that technical deliveries are well planned and executed into network operations. The individual will Have a strong understanding and experience of the following network technologies: SDN: SDWAN SD-LAN, Cisco Wi-Fi, Cisco SDA networks, Cisco DNAC suite, Cisco ISE, Cisco ACI, network management tools, IPSEC VPN, Cisco firewalls.
Performing technical validation of functional and non-functional requirements from global network connectivity standpoint
Manage global technology standards that is in line with current Industry standards and compliant with up to date Cyber and Information Security statandard
Potential of extensive global travel to support effective network project delivery.
Identify, own, and manage risks and issues relating to the network related project delivery, ensuring that mitigating actions are agreed and executed.
Stay abreast of trends in your domain of expertise including management, technologies, sourcing, policies, procedures, and other external changes that could have an impact on your domains technical delivery at Dyson.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
12+ years of strong technical experience in technology with 8+ years in technical leadership roles, be self-motivated, confident in working at a senior level and competent in operating in a matrix organization in which results are driven through influence.
Cisco Network design, deployment, and highest level of operation support of Cisco routers, switches, SDWAN, SDA, LAN, Wireless network support and troubleshooting, Cisco firewall deployment and support
Experience in cloud solutions deployment and support (AWS and GCP)
Proficiency with coding languages such as Python, Perl etc.
Strong understanding of Edge computing architectures and principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
CCNP certification or above is mandatory
Familiarity with network analysis tools such as SolarWinds, 1000Eyes
