The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of the LBHP team in the Behavioral Health Program/ Article 29-I.
S/he/they support the LBHP team in the use of best practices behavioral health assessments, crisis management, treatment plan development and therapeutic interventions to children involved in the child welfare system.
In addition, the Clinical Supervisor must ensure that all regulations form OCFS, OMH and DOH are followed.
The supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision to the mental health providers.
Will act as liaison and provide coordination between the medical staff, health homes program, Article 29-I administration, and case planning team to ensure that the children in our care are receiving the behavioral health services they need.
Review and co-sign all the documentation completed by the LBHP (including Progress notes, Mental Health Intake and Reassessments, Evaluations, Comprehensive Treatment Plans, OLP treatment plans, and court reports).
Assigns cases and monitors caseload.
Complete necessary case-related and supervisory documentation
Participate in program development and quality improvement activities.
Attend weekly case conferences as a support to the LBHP.
Provide psychotherapeutic supports
Complete other duties as assigned
