Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the assessment and formulation of risk management plans for clients
- Participating in decision making for and evaluating treatment options
- Promoting high quality psychological services to patients and carers
- Providing psychological services as an autonomous/independent practitioner
- Providing advice to multi disciplinary teams on psychological aspects of needs assessment
- Developing psychosocial formulations for highly complex problems
- Exercising professional responsibility for assessment, treatment and referral
- Providing casework for people experiencing severe psychological difficulties
Quality & Safety
- Promoting and maintaining quality in all services and ensure continuous quality improvement
- Complying with all safety, health and quality control programs and procedures
- Complying with applicable precautions for environmental safety, infection control
- Maintaining the strictest confidence in relation to patient information
- Practicing within the expressed limits of established policies and procedures
- Ensuring that SOP and Quality Assurance tests are maintained
- Being responsible for documenting all intervention in appropriate format
- Complying and supporting clinical audit processes
- Communicating in a professional and courteous manner with patients, family and other medical personnel
