headspace is Australia's National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing services across Australia, in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote areas, supporting young people and family to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
We’re looking for a Clinical Lead to oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations while providing guidance and supervision to the clinical team.
The role combines clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities, ensuring service quality, staff support, and strong client outcomes for our young people and their families.
With the recently announced headspace Plus model of service; the Clinical Lead will inherit a unique, innovative opportunity to engage in design planning and implementation of service development at headspace Indooroopilly with the vision of providing enhanced services to young people across Brisbane North.
This expansion will involve working collaboratively with stakeholders including Open Minds, headspace National, the Brisbane North PHN, Government and other local community organisations to ensure relevant and evidence-based quality care is provided across the targeted core streams.
Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders involved in health, mental health, and psychosocial service delivery. Participate in continuous clinical quality improvement activities, including training, and uphold the orgnisation’s Model Integrity Framework. Provide clinical leadership, consultation and expertise to headspace clinicians and other providers in the delivery of mental health care to young people and their families. Monitor and lead the ongoing delivery and improvement of a high standard of evidence-based, age-appropriate mental health assessment and intervention skills including appropriate clinical services across the mental health spectrum.
