About the Role
TMX Group seeks a detail-oriented Client Success Specialist to join the Equity Plan Solutions team. You will manage data execution, system configurations, and client financial reporting cycles for employee equity plans.

Responsibilities
- Manage client plan data within specialized platforms, including data file loads, troubleshooting discrepancies, and executing plan setups or updates
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and executing client equity compensation expense calculations, valuations, and disclosure reports
- Support end to end client onboarding workflow, including preparing client profiles and managing user access
- Coordinate routine data maintenance events such as grant cancellations, releases, accelerations, and demographic updates
- Generate and send routine client statements and reports
- Act as a reliable point of contact for everyday client system and data inquiries
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to prepare functional documentation and support system demonstrations
- Contribute to testing system upgrades and proactively update internal desk operating procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 1 2 years of professional experience in an analytical, data driven, or corporate accounting environment
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel including lookup functions, pivot tables, and data sorting
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint)
- Foundational knowledge of corporate equity compensation concepts (e.g., stock options, RSUs)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual in English and French
- Self starting mindset with ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines
- Experience with equity management software or employee plan platforms (nice to have)
- Interest in pursuing CEP, CSC, or CPA designation (nice to have)

Overview
- The Client Success Specialist is an essential, multi faceted member of the Equity Plan Solutions (EPS) team at TSX Trust, reporting to the Manager, Equity Plan Solutions.
- This role bridges the gap between data administration, platform configuration, and client financial reporting.
- Following structured training, the specialist will take direct accountability for managing day to day data execution, system configurations, and routine client financial reporting cycles.
Key Accountabilities
- System & Plan Administration: Take ownership of client plan data within specialized platforms; manage data file loads, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute plan setups or updates.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and executing client equity compensation expense calculations, valuations, and disclosure reports.
- Implementation & Client Onboarding: Support end to end client onboarding workflow; assist in preparing client profiles, managing user access, tracking project timelines, and providing documentation.
- Lifecycle Support & Relationship Management: Coordinate routine data maintenance events and generate routine client statements and reports.
- Client Service & Demonstrations: Act as a reliable point of contact for everyday client inquiries; collaborate with Relationship Managers to prepare documentation and support demonstrations.
- Operational Excellence: Contribute to testing system upgrades, assist with tax reporting logistics, and proactively update internal desk operating procedures.
- Team Contribution: Execute other activities as directed by leadership to support business growth.
Must Have(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and hands on experience).
- 1–2 years of professional experience in an analytical, data driven, or corporate accounting environment where data validation and financial balancing were key.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, with comfort using lookup functions, data sorting, formatting, and pivot tables.
- Advanced proficiency across the broader MS Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint); experience with flowcharts and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Foundational exposure to or basic knowledge of corporate equity compensation concepts (such as stock options or restricted stock units).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a natural diplomatic demeanor.
- Self starting mindset with ability to multitask, prioritize under tight deadlines, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
Nice to Have(s)
- Experience working directly with specialized equity management software or employee plan platforms.
- Interest in pursuing or currently working toward a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation, Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certificate, or accounting credential (CPA).
Workplace
- This role is hybrid (2 3 days/week in the office) based in Montreal, QC.
