Creating Clean, Welcoming Spaces for our Customers and Teams

Part Time | Permanent| £22,548

30 hours per week, Mon-Fri, split shift AM & PM

Your Standards. Our Spaces. Positive Experiences.

At Curo, clean, safe and welcoming spaces make a real difference. They help our colleagues do their best work, give our customers confidence when they visit us, and support the wellbeing of everyone who uses our buildings.

As Cleaning Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in making sure our cleaning services are delivered consistently and to a high standard. You’ll lead and support a team of cleaners, coordinate day-to-day activities and make sure our offices, communal areas and other facilities remain professional, hygienic and welcoming.

This is a hands-on role that combines people leadership with practical cleaning expertise. You’ll be visible, approachable and organised, with the confidence to deal with changing priorities while keeping standards high.

What you’ll be doing

Supervising and supporting the cleaning team across allocated locations

Planning daily work, allocating tasks and making sure cleaning schedules are delivered effectively

Carrying out regular inspections to check that cleaning standards, health and safety requirements and agreed service levels are being met

Providing practical guidance, coaching and feedback to team members

Supporting the induction and training of new cleaners

Working alongside the team to complete cleaning duties when required

Managing cleaning materials, equipment and stock, and reporting supply requirements

Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, accidents and other concerns promptly

Responding to customer and colleague queries in a helpful and professional way

Keeping accurate records, including cleaning checks, staff attendance and any follow-up actions

Working with colleagues and contractors to resolve issues and maintain excellent service standards

Taking responsibility for your own health and safety and supporting safe working practices across the team

More about you

You take pride in creating clean, safe and well-presented environments, and you understand the difference that high standards can make to people’s everyday experience. You’ll be confident supporting a team, managing priorities and addressing issues calmly and fairly.

You’ll be organised, reliable and comfortable working independently. You’ll also be willing to get involved practically when needed and lead by example.

To do well in this role, here’s what we’re looking for:

Experience in a cleaning, facilities or similar operational environment

Experience supervising, coordinating or supporting a team

Good knowledge of professional cleaning methods, products and equipment

Ability to plan work, manage competing priorities and meet agreed deadlines

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to provide clear guidance and feedback

Ability to complete records and use basic digital systems or a work phone

Understanding of health and safety requirements, including safe manual handling and the use of cleaning chemicals

Reliability, flexibility and a positive approach to working as part of a team

What you’ll get in return

Beyond the chance to make a real difference every day, you’ll get:

26 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 29 days after 3 years

Your birthday off as an extra holiday

Up to 10% matched pension contribution

Free parking at many of our locations

Flexible benefits which might include a Health Cash Plan

Access to an Employee Assistance Programme for your own wellbeing
