Position and Reporting
Cleaning Supervisor in the Operations / Facilities Management department.
Reports to the Operations Manager or Soft Services Manager.
Oversees day-to-day cleaning operations and cleaning teams across assigned client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise cleaning staff across assigned sites and ensure adequate manpower deployment.
- Prepare daily work schedules and allocate duties according to site requirements.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and overall staff performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain cleaning and hygiene standards.
- Ensure activities follow approved SOPs, schedules, and client requirements.
- Monitor general cleaning, deep cleaning, washrooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas.
- Train staff on cleaning methods, chemical handling, equipment use, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Ensure correct use, storage, and dilution of chemicals and proper handling of equipment.
- Monitor materials, consumables, PPE, tools, and machinery and coordinate replenishment.
- Handle absenteeism, replacements, manpower shortages, and disciplinary issues.
- Coordinate with clients regarding requirements, complaints, and service quality.
- Maintain records, conduct briefings, support corrective actions, and recommend operational improvements.
