Perform plumbing repairs – open clogged drains, change FET washers, stems seats, cartridges, handles, drain fittings, etc
Understand blueprints and wiring diagrams
Trace and repair drain and water lines
Keep immediate supervisors fully informed of all challenges or matters requiring his/her attention
Maintain preventive maintenance of HVAC systems
Repair kitchen equipment
Maintain repair records
Handle Dangerous Chemicals
Manage inventory program
Work unsupervised
Direct other engineering associates
Maintain legal documents, i.e., boiler log, PM logs emergency log
Work with and direct contractors
Make informed decisions regarding the department and the physical plant
Handle all aspects of Class 2,3 & 4 positions
Assist as Property Security as requested
Other duties as required
Participate in staff and other meetings
