About the Role

Responsibilities
- Directs preparation and formal execution of contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licences with all relevant parties
- Leads large teams, driving performance, behaviours and continuous improvement to achieve organisational KPIs
- Oversees valuation measurement to ensure effective cost control, forecasting, and accurate commercial reporting
- Directs production and client presentation of monthly post contract cost reports
- Proactively identifies cost impacts arising from design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client driven requirements
- Oversees evaluation of contractor and subcontractor claims related to delays and additional costs
- Directs issuance of practical completion certificates and advises on making good defects and final completion requirements
- Leads Cost Consultants in enhancing cost management procedures, tools, and templates, driving best practice, continuous improvement, and supporting net zero carbon objectives
Requirements
- Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent)
- Professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) and moving towards fellowship, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development
- Strong bidding and business development experience
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Sound knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction
- Management experience within large, diverse teams

Project Overview
- This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
You’ll be responsible for
- Directs preparation and formal execution of contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licences with all relevant parties.
- Leads large teams, driving performance, behaviours and continuous improvement to achieve organisational KPIs.
- Oversees valuation measurement to ensure effective cost control, forecasting, and accurate commercial reporting.
- Directs production and client presentation of monthly post‑contract cost reports.
- Proactively identifies cost impacts arising from design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client‑driven requirements.
- Oversees evaluation of contractor and subcontractor claims related to delays and additional costs.
