Role Overview
Perform senior civil and structural technical review and BIM coordination for tower projects.
Support design compliance, construction quality, procurement quantities, site engineering, inspections, and handover documentation.
Design and Documentation
- Review civil and structural design drawings and shop drawings for compliance with approved design intent and specifications.
- Prepare and coordinate civil and structural shop drawings with the BIM-coordinated model and actual site conditions.
- Prepare and maintain as-built drawings for civil and structural works for records and handover.
- Prepare and verify BOQ take-offs for procurement, tendering, and variation or change-order evaluation.
Technical and Quality Control
- Conduct technical and quality-control reviews of civil and structural works.
- Check works against approved design, the Saudi Building Code, and international standards.
- Review vendor and subcontractor technical submittals, material approvals, and test certificates.
- Provide technical guidance to site civil engineers on complex design and construction issues.
- Participate in technical inspections, witness testing, and structural commissioning reviews.
BIM Coordination
- Support BIM coordination for structural elements and clash-free integration with architectural and MEP disciplines.
Requirements
- Ability to review civil and structural design drawings and shop drawings for tower projects.
- Ability to prepare and coordinate civil and structural shop drawings with BIM models and site conditions.
- Working knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and applicable international standards.
- Ability to perform BOQ take-offs for civil and structural works.
- Ability to review technical submittals, material approvals, and test certificates.
- Ability to support technical inspections, witness testing, and structural commissioning reviews.
