About the Role
emagine is seeking a Civil / Finishing Engineer to contribute to maintenance, renovation, and finishing works for large commercial and residential facilities in the UAE. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil and finishing maintenance activities (carpentry, masonry, tiling, painting, plastering, flooring, façade, etc.)
- Conduct routine inspections, identify defects, and oversee corrective actions
- Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and manage work order workflows
- Lead refurbishment, renovation, and fit out works, ensuring quality and compliance
- Review drawings, BOQs, and material submittals
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare snag lists, technical reports, and cost estimates
- Ensure full adherence to HSE requirements and support audit activities
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in civil/finishing maintenance or building renovation
- Strong hands on knowledge of finishing materials, standards, and construction methods
- Experience in commercial or residential facilities (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- UAE valid driving license & car is required

Summary
