AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Valley Line West LRT project based in Edmonton, Alberta.
This is an exciting and challenging role primarily supporting the Owner’s Engineer project management team. The Owner’s Engineer is a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of subconsultants led by AECOM.
This is an 8-month term expected to begin in January 2027.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Project Management- assisting leadership with various management activities of multi-disciplinary teams consisting of consultants, contractors, clients and stakeholders; work with the project team to control scope, schedule, quality and budget of OE team; assessing whether project activities are in accordance with the best practices of project management methodology, processes and procedures; assisting coordination of external consultants and contractors to meet project objectives in a collaborative manner; documenting project activities
Design Review- reviewing project documentation prepared by other parties for contract compliance; attending and documenting technical meetings; coordination of and support for design review teams
