Project engineering and management including project oversight, setting priorities, and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
Serving as a technical resource and mentor for site civil team members.
Lead and participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
Develop new business opportunities by strengthening relationships with existing clients and creating new client connections.
Represent the firm at industry events, professional associations, and community activities to enhance visibility and market presence.
Professional society involvement.
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Master’s degree with an emphasis on hydraulics, hydrology or a related field of study is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience of design experience in site development, grading, drainage, storm water management, and permitting in Wisconsin. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
Abilities to mentor staff and successfully lead a project team is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-discipline and architect-led team on large site projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Wisconsin. PE licenses in other Midwest states is a plus.
Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
