Civil Engineer I (Project Manager) - Infrastructure Delivery

Qualifications

• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a minimum of 4 years related experience in planning, design and construction of structures, roadworks or utilities in an urban environment and project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience in completing multiple tasks, and setting and meeting competing deadlines.
• Registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training in British Columbia is required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Working knowledge of EGBC’s Organizational Quality Management guidelines or other quality management frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Master Municipal Construction Document (MMCD).
• Strong analytical, writing and public speaking skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are necessary to be effective in this position.
• Ability to take on a leadership role and be proactive at resolving project conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal clients and external partners.
• Ability to lead a team of technical staff.
