Civil Engineer – Fit-Out

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil and fit-out site activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site workers.
• Monitor project progress and ensure scheduled completion.
• Check material and workmanship quality.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, project teams, and estimation teams.
• Identify and resolve site-related issues.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe working practices at site.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Civil Engineer.
• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Good knowledge of civil and fit-out works, construction materials, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and understand civil and architectural drawings.
• Ability to manage site activities and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Approvals and Experience

• Interior fit-out or construction project experience is preferred.
• UAE Engineering Society membership or registration is preferred.
• Dubai Municipality engineer approval or registration is preferred.
• Dubai Development Authority approval is advantageous.
• Trakhees approval or registration is advantageous.
• Experience with DM, DDA, Trakhees, RTA, and other UAE authority requirements is advantageous.
• A UAE driving licence is advantageous.
