This is a six-month Civil Engineer assignment focused on infrastructure and related civil works.
The role is site-based and involves monitoring construction activities, coordinating site resources, and maintaining project records.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitor civil and infrastructure activities at site.
- Manage manpower, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with surveyors, foremen, supervisors, QA/QC teams, and consultant or client inspectors.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Follow up material availability and site requirements.
- Maintain site records and inspection documents.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience with excavation, pipe laying, bedding, backfilling, compaction, sewer networks, utilities, roadworks, manholes, chambers, and related civil works.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, RFIs, inspections, site documentation, and HSE requirements.
- Good computer skills, including MS Office.
- AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
