Role Overview
Civil Draftsman role based in Dubai, focused on preparing and coordinating construction drawings.
The role requires strong knowledge of civil construction drawings, AutoCAD, and drafting standards.
Drawing Preparation
- Prepare civil, architectural, structural, shop, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, layouts, construction details, and technical drawings.
- Prepare details for concrete, blockwork, masonry, foundations, slabs, columns, beams, stairs, walls, openings, and finishes.
Coordination and Revisions
- Interpret engineering drawings and convert design concepts and engineer instructions into detailed drawings.
- Coordinate civil drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and other discipline drawings to resolve clashes.
- Revise drawings for site changes, consultant comments, authority requirements, and project instructions.
Site and Project Support
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and completed construction works.
- Take and verify site measurements and incorporate accurate information into drawings.
