The opportunity

How you will make an impact

• Lead and manage civil design engineers and CAD technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Oversee conceptual and detailed civil designs and engineering calculations for substations, power plants, transmission lines, and related infrastructure.
• Develop and review drawings, specifications, reports, and other project documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with Indian and international codes, standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, structural, and environmental engineering teams.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
• Conduct technical reviews and quality control checks of design deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate design risks and challenges.
• Present design solutions and project updates to stakeholders.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive civil engineering design experience, including 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with foundations, earthworks, drainage systems, roads, and civil infrastructure for industrial or power projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools such as STAAD.Pro or SAP2000.
• Knowledge of Indian and international civil engineering codes and standards.
• Leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Professional Engineer license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
