CIVIL 3D MODELERS (DRY UTILITIES)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, or equivalent BIM software.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, profiles, and cross-sections for dry utility networks.
• Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks Manage.
• Ensure models comply with the BIM Execution Plan, project standards, and required Level of Detail.
• Generate quantity take-offs, schedules, and reports directly from BIM models.
• Update models based on design revisions, field markups, and coordination inputs.
• Collaborate with engineers, CAD technicians, and BIM modelers to maintain accurate design information.
• Support BIM Coordinators in implementing company and project BIM standards.
• Ensure deliverables meet applicable local authority requirements.
• Maintain BIM content libraries for dry utility components.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of infrastructure project experience focused on dry utilities.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is mandatory.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage and AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with Revit is optional.
• Strong understanding of dry utility systems design and layout.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, Level of Detail, and BIM Execution Plans.
• Ability to interpret and implement engineering drawings and design documents.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure or mixed-use development projects.
