About the Role
CI Manager at State Window Corporation in Vaughan, Ontario.
Reports to the Director of Manufacturing and oversees production project functions from start to finish.
Works closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and R&D on project tasks.
The position is full-time and permanent.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the physical layout of equipment, materials, and storage.
- Calculate throughput and cycle times and identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints.
- Coordinate throughput improvements, assess operator utilization, and reduce ergonomic stressors.
- Implement continuous improvement and monitor cost savings.
- Maintain KPI charts, job instruction sheets, SOP lists, rework instructions, SQDCI boards, and layered audits.
- Evaluate safety hazards and coordinate their elimination.
- Optimize equipment utilization and efficiency and support R&D product launches.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Process Engineer experience or equivalent manufacturing or product development experience.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical, technology, industrial, or an equivalent field is preferred.
