Chubb Associate Program

The Chubb Associate Program is a two-year early-career development program with assignments across a variety of business disciplines.

The program combines classroom and webinar training, online self-study, on-the-job learning, group projects, mentoring, networking, and leadership exposure.

Program Experience

  • Participants receive challenging assignments, collaborative learning, technical training, interpersonal effectiveness development, executive engagement, and peer mentoring.
  • The program includes opportunities for leadership development and global assignments.

Program Activities

  • Participants contribute to team results, develop ideas, gain exposure to business opportunities, and provide service to an existing renewal portfolio.
  • Participants cultivate broker relationships and use analytical abilities to support profitable business growth.

Underwriting Work

  • Underwriters evaluate customer risks, apply acceptance criteria, approve or decline risks, negotiate contract terms, determine pricing, and manage broker-submitted business.
  • Participants may manage a book of business, analyze personal or commercial risks, develop contract wording, price products, and support new and renewal business.

Insurance Areas

  • Commercial Insurance covers property, general liability, automobile, and sector-specific solutions for industries including energy, life sciences, technology, manufacturing, and entertainment.
  • Financial Lines includes professional liability, cyber, directors and officers, kidnap and ransom, commercial crime, employment practices, and fiduciary liability coverage.
  • Personal Risk Services provides property and casualty products for affluent individuals and families, including coverage for fine art, rare objects, and classic cars.
  • Major Accounts serves large US and Canadian companies with tailored risk management solutions and global expertise.

Claims

  • Claims professionals provide customer service and help manage and resolve a broad range of claims with integrity, empathy, promptness, expertise, and fairness.

French Program Description

The posting also includes a French-language description of the same two-year associate program, including training, mentoring, broker relationships, underwriting, pricing, and business development.

Requirements

  • The program is designed for early-career professionals and includes structured training, on-the-job learning, group projects, mentoring, and networking.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with assigned brokers.
