Responsibilities
- Install, operate, maintain, and repair chillers and associated HVAC equipment
- Perform routine inspections, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal chiller performance and energy efficiency
- Monitor system parameters, record operational data, and respond to service requests and alarms
- Collaborate with other technical team members and follow company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support continuous improvement of cooling system reliability and performance
Requirements
- Strong technical skills in chiller systems, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance
- Knowledge of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, and related mechanical and electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and basic hand and power tools safely and accurately
- Understanding of safety regulations, environmental standards, and best practices for handling refrigerants and HVAC systems
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in HVAC/Refrigeration or Mechanical/Electrical technology
- Previous experience as a Chiller Technician or HVAC technician in commercial or industrial facilities preferred
- Willingness to work on site in Riyadh, respond to emergencies, and participate in rotating shifts or on call duty as needed

Role Description
- The Chiller Technician is a full time, on site role based in Riyadh, responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of chillers and associated HVAC equipment.
- Day to day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring optimal chiller performance and energy efficiency.
- The role involves monitoring system parameters, recording operational data, and responding to service requests and alarms in line with service level agreements and safety standards.
- The Chiller Technician collaborates with other technical team members, follows company procedures and regulatory requirements, and supports continuous improvement of cooling system reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in chiller systems, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, and related mechanical and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and basic hand and power tools safely and accurately.
- Understanding of safety regulations, environmental standards, and best practices for handling refrigerants and HVAC systems.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and facility managers.
- Organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks, complete work orders, and maintain accurate service records.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in HVAC/Refrigeration or Mechanical/Electrical technology; additional specialized training in chiller systems is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a Chiller Technician or HVAC technician in commercial or industrial facilities is preferred.
- Willingness to work on site in Riyadh, respond to emergencies, and participate in rotating shifts or on call duty as needed.
