About the Role

- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of chillers
- Perform refrigerant recovery, recycling, and purification
- Supervise and monitor work done by external vendors
- Perform routine tests such as leak checks and system pressure verification
- Prepare and submit technical log reports and checklists
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours
Requirements
- Experience in chiller maintenance and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of refrigerant recovery, recycling, and purification
- Familiarity with vibration analysis and thermography
- Ability to supervise external vendors
- Adherence to safety protocols including lockout/tagout

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot and diagnostic activities related to chillers, FCU, AHU, and ventilation systems.
- Perform refrigerant recovery, recycling and purifying system tasks.
- Execute maintenance tasks such as disassembly, assembly, observation, troubleshoots, repairs, tests, data collection of static and rotating equipment.
- Supervise, guide and monitor work done by external vendors.
- Perform routine tests such as checking for leaks, verifying system pressures, Nitrogen charging.
- Perform routine chiller maintenance including condenser and evaporator end covers opening and closing, support heat exchanger chemical cleaning, swabbing, ECT.
- Perform refrigerant transfer, reclaim, oil extract from refrigerant.
- Perform refrigerant recycling and purification activity and support superior on managing, handling and storing refrigerants and nitrogen.
- Familiarity with vibration analysis, thermography, and other predictive maintenance techniques.
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklist or forms as part of daily routine work.
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables from internal store or external location.
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for business continuation and safety.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of how to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and cleaning heat exchanger tubes.
- Understanding how to monitor and log key operating parameters to anticipate maintenance needs.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling and disposal.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and procedures.
- Adherence to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures for mechanical and electrical assets.
