About the Role
Miral Experiences is seeking a Chief Steward to manage the Stewarding team and ensure smooth Food & Beverage operations at their Abu Dhabi attractions. Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen hygiene per HACCP standards, managing inventory, ordering cleaning supplies, and controlling chemical costs.

Responsibilities
- Manage the Stewarding team and carry out quarterly inventory of operating equipment
- Maintain the kitchen’s hygienic condition, as per HACCP standards
- Ensure departmental chemical costs are kept within the budget
- Prepare and post weekly work schedules for Stewarding Colleagues
- Order all kitchen cleaning supplies to maintain inventory par stock
- Ensure all areas of responsibility are organized according to sanitary guidelines
- Ensure proper use of cleaning products and chemicals to keep costs to a minimum
- Adjust or balance the size of Colleagues to maximize productivity without sacrificing Guest service
- Ensure cleanliness of all kitchen and back of house areas of Food and Beverage
- Clean and restock all operating equipment for all outlets and banquets
- Liaise closely with outlet Colleagues regarding their needs for operating equipment and its placement
- Monitor all Stewarding operations, especially during peak business periods, assisting and making adjustments where necessary
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1 2 years’ same role or 4 years as Assistant Chief Steward
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work well with others as a team member
- Able to spend long hours standing if required
- Good Communication and listening skills
- Leadership skills
- Attention to details
- Problem solving skills
- College Diploma in food services or culinary arts (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (desirable)
- Multiple Language Skills (Native Language and English Language) (desirable)

About The Role
- To ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the Food & Beverage Department in relation to the Company Core Process; thus directly impacting the delivery of the experience.
- This position manages the Stewarding team and carries out quarterly inventory of operating equipment; responsible for maintaining the kitchen’s hygienic condition, as per HACCP standards.
- Ensures that departmental chemical costs are kept within the budget.
Key Responsibilities

- To help achieve department and Company objectives, action plans and key performance indicators.
- To enforce and adhere to all UAE laws, Health, Safety & Environmental policies, industry and Company rules and regulations.
- Adhere to all emergency procedures, ensuring Guest safety and participate in an evacuation if necessary.
- To prepare and post weekly work schedules for Stewarding Colleagues, making sure that they reflect business needs and other key performance indicators.
- To encourage Colleagues to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognizing them for their contribution.
- To support the implementation of The F&B Culinary philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Farah’s Values and Culture characteristics.
- To assume responsibility of ordering all the kitchen cleaning supplies in order to maintain the inventory par stock.
- To ensure all areas of responsibility are organized in order to maintain them according to sanitary guidelines.
- To ensure proper use of cleaning products and chemicals in a continuous effort in order to keep costs to a minimum.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma.
- 1 2 years’ same role or 4 years as Assistant Chief Steward.
- Ability to work under pressure.

Desirable
