About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead all factory processing and packaging operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and food safety standards
- Oversee logistics and distribution operations across all sales channels
- Manage end to end supply chain operations from sourcing through last mile delivery
- Own cold chain management and warehousing to ensure product integrity and freshness
- Direct purchasing and agricultural produce sourcing strategy
- Build, scale, and continuously improve operational processes and systems
- Partner with CEO and leadership team on operational strategy, budgeting, and performance
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and performance dashboards
- Drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead cross functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehousing
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee ERP implementation, optimization, and operational reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of progressive operations leadership experience
- Proven experience in an FMCG company selling fresh produce
- Experience in a startup environment or standing up a new division/factory from the ground up
- Strong understanding of fresh produce with hands on factory or distribution center experience
- Experience implementing or managing ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle)
- Proven experience working in Saudi Arabia
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
- MBA is an advantage

Job Summary
- The COO will own the full operational backbone of Mishkat, reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team.
- This is a high impact role for an operator who thrives on building robust systems in a fast moving, hands on environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on operational strategy, budgeting, and performance against company targets
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and performance dashboards

- Lead cross functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehousing
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
- Proven experience in an FMCG company selling fresh produce
- Experience in a startup environment, or experience standing up a new division, branch, or factory from the ground up
- Strong understanding of fresh produce, with hands on experience operating a factory or running a distribution center in a similar field
- Experience implementing or managing ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle).
- Proven experience working in Saudi Arabia is essential.
- A track record of building and leading operational teams, with strong cross functional leadership skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced, resource conscious growth environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands on execution.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
