What You'll Do:
Lead and manage a department of engineers, technologists, contractors, and consultants to ensure full technical support for Operations and Maintenance activities on site Manage employee productivity, safety compliance, assignments, and performance quality Be responsible for ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and structural activities are sufficiently designed, specified, built, and integrated per applicable standards and codes. Support the execution of the site’s Capital portfolio through resource support and direction Manage the site’s engineering standards, drawings, and procedures Build, improve, and manage business processes to maximize work efficiency and quality of execution Actively promote and engage in continuous improvement by driving alterations or modifications to existing systems and providing technical advice for improving maintenance and operating reliability, efficiency, and cost performance Support coordination and supervision of service provider activities as required Lead the Process, Safety & Integrity Management (PSIM) program for the site’s Operations including Key areas of primary responsibility within PSIM Risk management Standards development and execution Engineering knowledge management Management of change
