Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Professional Qualification in Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years relevant
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills

Job Summary
- The Chief Accountant manages the accounting functions within an organization, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Oversee and manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Supervise and provide leadership to accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and safeguard Company assets.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage the month end and year end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits, reviews, and compliance.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance, support, and expertise.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills.
Job Experience
- Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
