Role Overview
Radisson Hotel Fujairah is seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Accountant for its opening team.
The role oversees hotel accounting functions, financial reporting, controls, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
The Chief Accountant reports to the Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day hotel accounting activities and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Support preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and other financial information.
- Manage month-end closing, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, general ledger, and related accounting functions.
- Maintain effective financial controls across hotel operations.
- Support internal and external audits and address audit requirements and recommendations promptly.
Requirements
- Strong hotel accounting experience.
- Experience overseeing accounting functions and maintaining accurate financial reporting.
- Ability to maintain financial controls in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
