Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie – Bakery to join its Bakery and Pastry team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce bakery and pastry products according to recipes and standards.
- Prepare cakes, muffins, brownies, tarts, pastries, desserts, and other bakery products.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
- Follow daily production plans and complete all work on time.
- Maintain food preparation, storage, and hygiene standards.
- Follow HACCP and food safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section.
- Monitor ingredient usage and minimize wastage.
- Support senior chefs and the Head of Bakery and Pastry in daily operations.
- Assist with new product development when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen.
- Good knowledge of bakery and pastry production.
- Experience with cakes, pastries, desserts, and baked products.
- Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Good attention to detail and product presentation.
- Relevant bakery or pastry qualification is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000–AED 6,000 per month.
Workplace and Employment
- The role is full-time.
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
