Role Summary
The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International corporate strategies and brand standards.
The role manages the assigned kitchen as an independent profit centre.
The position is responsible for guest satisfaction, employee and owner expectations, budget control, and outlet financial success.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the assigned kitchen according to the outlet's operating concept and Hyatt International standards.
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget.
- Help ensure the financial success of the outlet.
- Operate the department in line with corporate strategies, brand standards, and stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant of good standards is required.
- Experience in luxury international brands is preferred.
- Experience in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards is required.
Technical Skills and Languages
- Basic computer skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System are preferred.
- English and Italian language skills are required.
