Role Overview
Battlefield Equipment Rentals is hiring a Certified Small Engine Mechanic for its Toronto service team.
The mechanic keeps rental fleet and customer equipment operating safely, reliably, and effectively.
Location and Work Type
- The position is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The role involves hands-on service work with rental equipment, customer equipment, yard operations, and work areas.
Pay
- Pay is $24.00–$28.00 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair defective small engines on rental equipment.
- Diagnose, service, and maintain rental equipment and customer-owned tools and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on fleet and customer equipment.
- Load and unload rental equipment and explain operating instructions when required.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized yard and work areas.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide timely repairs and service.
- Follow workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices.
