As a key member of the Service team, the Small Engines Mechanic plays a vital role in keeping our rental fleet and customer equipment operating safely, reliably, and effectively. What You’ll Be Doing Diagnose and repair defective small engines on rental equipment. Diagnose, service, and maintain QA rental equipment. Diagnose and repair customer-owned tools and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on both fleet and customer equipment. Maintain and service small-engine-related equipment. Load and unload customer rental equipment and clearly explain operating instructions as required. Maintain the yard and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner. Support branch operations by performing additional duties as assigned. Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure timely repairs and service delivery Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment. What We're Looking For Mechanical Experience: Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Small Engines Technician or similar role with experience working on 2-stroke and 4-stroke gas engines, construction heaters (propane and natural gas), small electrical tools, forklifts, aerial lifts and Stihl, Echo, Hilti, Husqvarna, Gorman-Rupp, Tsurumi and Honda products.
