Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Certified Rigger supporting marine, oil and gas, and subsea projects.
The role covers safe planning and execution of lifting and rigging operations in accordance with standards and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Plan, assemble, inspect, and operate rigging equipment to lift, move, and position heavy loads.
- Interpret lift plans and drawings and select appropriate rigging gear.
- Coordinate with lifting supervisors, crane operators, and project teams to execute lifts.
- Maintain rigging documentation and report hazards or equipment defects.
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Guide site personnel on rigging best practices and support lifting-operation audits or inspections.
