Job Overview

  • The Tutoring Center is seeking a dynamic and results driven Center Director to oversee daily operations, drive student enrollment and retention, and lead a motivated team in delivering exceptional academic support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive student enrollment by effectively communicating The Tutoring Center’s benefits to prospective families.
  • Implement strategies to retain students, ensuring long term satisfaction and academic success.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to ensure proper and timely communication with parents, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Accurately relay messages and information to ensure clarity and alignment with the center’s goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire staff to maintain a positive and professional environment.
  • Uphold and promote the company culture through active engagement and collaboration.
  • Evaluate students’ needs and recommend tailored academic study plans to parents, providing clear solutions to achieve their goals.
  • Ensure academic excellence by monitoring student progress and optimizing tutoring methods.
  • Understand and analyze revenue implications on the bottom line.
  • Monitor and manage the center’s performance using a basic understanding of profit and loss (P&L) statements.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring the center runs efficiently and meets all performance targets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in academic settings with a strong understanding of educational practices and student learning outcomes.
  • Familiarity with creating and managing academic study plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster a vibrant and professional work culture.
  • Results oriented mindset with experience in sales, student enrollment, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relay messages accurately and effectively.
  • Basic understanding of financial metrics, including P&L statements.
  • Energetic, professional, and highly organized with strong problem solving abilities.
