Requirements
- Degree in Music, Performance or Education (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certification in a music program (Suzuki Method, ABRSM or Royal Conservatory) is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching cello/violin (online or in-person).
- Professional performance experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Expertise in violin or cello technique and repertoire.
- Ability to teach students of varying ages and musical backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate learners remotely.
- Familiarity with music theory, sight-reading and ear-training techniques.
- Reliable internet connection, computer with webcam and microphone.
- Proficiency with virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet or music teaching apps).
