General Job Description Dogwood Industries is seeking a CDL Driver & Receiving Handler to join our growing team.

This position requires the candidate to have their Class A CDL with a two or more years of experience and a clean driving record.

A successful candidate needs to be a team player as this position requires the employee to jump in with the Receiving Team when they are not driving.

• Drive haul runs up to or exceeding one-hour commute (one way)
• You must be willing to communicate and cooperate with customers, respond to their questions, and safely operate delivery vehicle in compliance with company and DOT Guidelines, Rules and Regulations
• Perform regular safety inspections of equipment in keeping with company SOPs and OSHA standards
• Communicate professionally with warehouses, including notifying loaders by phone if you will be late for a scheduled drop-off or pickup
• Follow a schedule of weekly recurring local runs between customers
• Count product during loading and / or unloading
• Other duties as assigned
