Responsibilities
- Receive cash, card, Tabby, Tamara, and other payment transactions accurately
- Count cash received and maintain proper cash balances throughout the day
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchange transactions according to company policy
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift
- Assist customers professionally and resolve payment related inquiries
- Coordinate with accounts department regarding cash deposits and discrepancies
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in the POS system
- Welcome and greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and surrounding area
- Support store operations when required
- Follow company procedures and financial controls at all times
Requirements

Job Summary
- Star Gallery Mart is looking for an experienced and reliable Cashier to join our retail store in Al Ain.
- The ideal candidate must have previous UAE cashier experience, be fluent in both Arabic and English, and possess strong cash handling and customer service skills.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of cashier experience in the UAE.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English (speaking is mandatory).
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to count money accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle busy retail transactions.
- Honest, trustworthy, and detail oriented.
- Positive attitude with a professional appearance.
- Must greet customers professionally and maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude at all times.
- Willing to relocate to any Star Gallery Mart branch within the UAE if required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using POS systems.
- Experience handling merchant payments and payment terminals.
- Previous experience in electronics retail stores is highly preferred.
Assessment & Trial Period
- Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend a practical assessment and/or complete a 1–2 day assessment/trial period before final selection.
- Candidates will be evaluated on accuracy in cash handling, speed, customer service, professional appearance, POS accuracy, punctuality, honesty, discipline, and overall work performance.
- Final hiring will be based on interview performance, practical assessment results, and successful completion of the assessment/trial period.

- From AED 2,000.00 per month
