- Receive and process cash, cheque, card, and electronic payments accurately
- Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations to clients
- Maintain daily cash balances and reconcile cash transactions at end of each shift
- Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper supporting documentation
- Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the finance department
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist customers with payment related inquiries professionally and courteously
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records
- Support the accounting team with general finance and administrative tasks when required
Requirements
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier or in a similar finance related role
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cash handling procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and accounting or billing software
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Honest, dependable, and able to work with high level of accuracy
